Green Planet Plastics posts all plastic recycling events if they are in a positive interest to the Agricultural community. Organizations seeking to post on our calendar should notify our staff by phone or email bill@greenplanetplastics.org

Green Planet Plastics will not be held responsible for the information presented for posting by others. We will not post information presented by others unless they are willing to provide contact information and we encourage growers and end users of plastic products to contact all parties to verify information prior to participation in any recycling endeavor.
Events and/or permanent sites handling crop protection containers will not be posted unless the recycling effort is promoted and accomplished in conjunction with an ACRC contractor. our calendar or display on our list of permanent drop sites please send us the contact information through our CONTACT US page. We require adequate time prior to events, and we try to substantiate all information.

        Remember for pesticide containers check with your local ACRC contractor on their website(s) for locations.

Northern California:
         Butte County     Green Planet Plastics   530-228-3337 All plastics, except PVC (Hey we're working on it!) Or contact Interstate Ag Plastics, our ACRC affiliate operating statewide.

         Oroville and Chico, in the Sacramento Valley.    Fair Street Recycling / The Work Training Center (WTC).    Also located in Butte County, taking all plastic except PVC and commercial pesticide containers (from growers). We do however accect all other types, including poly-pipe, t-tape, plastic sheeting, baling twine and more!  Locations are in Chico and Oroville, California. These Sacramento Valley locations accept almost all recyclables including; Bottles, Aluminum and Cardboard.         Glenn County    Green Planet Plastics   530-228-3337 for ag crop protection containers or the Glenn County ag commissioner's office at 530-934-6501. There is a permanent site at 5700 County Rd 33 Artois, California. (near Willows)

       Sutter County Ag Commissioner.   Call Jan Kendel, Sutter County Ag. office at 530-822-7503. She has two permanent drop sites for crop protection containers.   Grower's Ag Service and Sutter Mutual Water Teesdale Yard. ACRC restrictions apply. Also see our calendar.
